We tried a couple new hikes in April that were actually successful (that is, more hiking than whining).
This was Oso Creek Trail. There were things to do for the kids along the trail, lots of flowers and butterflies. The maze (above) was a big hit.
We did a new Top of the World hike in Aliso and Wood Canyons Park, heading North on the West Ridge trail. John had done this previously on one of his solo hikes. We went nearly three miles, Sienna walked the whole time and the only complaint came from Dalton's constant hunger.
