Why Am I Not Surprised?

The Roof at Temple Square

John asked for a fancy dinner for Christmas, so tonight we ate at The Roof Restaurant at Temple Square.  The food was really good, but the view was hard to beat.

Here are some silly pictures of kids we took in the car today while waiting in line at the car wash.
Maggie has been wearing her coat backwards since some friends came over last week with theirs on backwards.

Sledding at the Cabin

We had so much fun at the cabin today! Not all of the family was able to make it, but we had a great time with those who did, including two dogs.  We spent over an hour outside sledding.  We went right down the road, and also found various hills off the road to try.  The high altitude and kid-lugging really wore me out.  Luckily, Ashley and Brook took turns pulling Maggie back up to the cabin on a sled!

My little family hiking up for a turn.

Christmas Day

First picture from my new camera after church!

First look at what Santa sent.
 yay!
Maggie asked for "candy cane hair."

Apparently, it's very difficult to unwrap a football.

Maggie disappeared during the present opening.  I found her in the kitchen playing with her new stuffed dinosaurs.
Snuggling with Uncle Leonard and a new book from Aunt Rachel.
A special gift from Frosty and Rudolph.
Some crazy pictures trying out the new camera settings.

Was a little horsie going to town.  Crossed the bridge...
 And the bridge fell down!
Uh-oh! Dalton really did fall.  Uncle Nathan is a favorite for this game.
 Shepherd Daddy!
 The guys all dressed up.
 Playing the White Elephant game.
