I made Maggie a quick Christmas dress, using the third style on my Simplicity 5695 pattern. This is the same fabric as my maternity skirt and Rachel's latest dress. I've still got yards of this fabric, so more to come, I'm sure.
I took a few inches off the bottom of the dress to make it more of a party dress. I also added a yard and a half of velvet ribbon at the bottom of the bodice, to use as a sash.
She loves it - just now when I tried it on for pictures she said, "I'm wearing this, like Santa!"(We are watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas.)
